1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Butternut Bags’ website, services, and product purchases. By accessing our website, you accept and agree to these terms in accordance with South African law.

2. Orders & Payments

  • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and subject to change without prior notice.
  • Orders are only processed after full payment is received.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • Our bags are handmade to order. Purchasers will be advised as to the estimated production lead time as from date of payment receipt to the date the order will be ready for shipping.
  • Delivery timelines depend on the courier service and location.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers.
  • Only South African deliveries are currently available. This may change without prior notice.
  • Deliveries countrywide are for the customer’s account using Courier Guy locker-to-locker or Locker-to-Door, with costs starting from R60 depending on size and volume of order. This will be quoted and added to the invoice.
  • While we do everything we can to ensure a smooth delivery, delays do occasionally occur. If your parcel is significantly overdue, reach out to us and we will investigate with the courier.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, images, product designs, and branding on this website are copyrighted and owned by Butternut Bags. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited.

5. Liability Disclaimer

  • Butternut Bags is not liable for damages caused by misuse of our products.
  • Product colours and fabric patterns may slightly vary due to photography lighting, computer screen differences and unique fabric characteristics.
  • We are not responsible for courier delays once the product is shipped.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by South African law and any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act and applicable legal processes.
